PHOENIX – Arizona State University students got a lesson in politics, but the teachers were not typical college professors. Just days before Election Day, the four candidates for governor stopped by the Tempe campus for Spark Democracy, where they spelled out their positions on issues and educated students about their different political philosophies. The candidates touched on everything from school funding to marijuana legalization, and gave students a chance to ask them questions as well, hoping to spark student interest in politics and make for more informed decisions on Election Day.
