PHOENIX – Billions of golf balls are produced – and lost – each year, a level of waste that led Tempe’s Dixon Golf to develop an environmentally friendly ball. The company made a line of recyclable balls and established its own recycling program for them. And one former pro who took the balls out for a test said they compared favorably to other popular standard golf balls.
