BMX program teaching life lessons to special-needs kids

PHOENIX – Patrick Harrison was diagnosed with autism, but you wouldn’t know it when he’s riding on the tracks at Black Mountain BMX. He is part of a program offered at the track called Rip it Now, which is aimed at helping kids with special needs. The owner of the track, Debbie Kelley, says folks there want to promote social interaction and teach life lessons.
