The ‘scum’ respond: Arizona native was part of Code Pink protest that McCain blasted

WASHINGTON – Tighe Barry, a former Tucson resident who now dedicates himself to protesting with the anti-war group Code Pink in Washington, was one of those Sen. John McCain called “low-life scum” for protesting the appearance of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger at an Senate Armed Services Committee hearing. Barry, who has been arrested for his part in other protests, said he didn’t take it personally.
