Arizona is being sued for not meeting foster care regulations

Several children’s advocacy groups are now suing the state claiming that it is violating the civil rights of nearly 17,000 foster children. The law suit claimed the Arizona has a severe shortage of foster homes, fails in reuniting children with their families, and does not investigate reports of maltreatment in existing foster homes.
